There’s a lot of hope riding on Johannes Roberts’ upcoming Resident Evil reboot. After Paul WS Anderson’s (all-too) lengthy stay in the saddle of the franchise, a more horror-based take has finally started filming, and with prior pics showing up of some Raccoon City sets, things look good.
To add fuel to that hype, new set photos have popped up online, this time depicting the Spencer Mansion’s lavish interiors which is being filmed in the Scottish Rite Club in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

It’s plain to see that a lot of effort has gone into making the Resident Evil reboot at least look the part.

Not long ago, we saw some filming taking place that looked to be of the truck from Resident Evil 2, careening into town. This truck was practically pulled straight from the Resident Evil 2 remake.
With such visual fidelity, it’s hard not to start feeling like this movie might actually be a good adaptation. While the plot seems to be condensing Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 into a single film, we’re still hopeful that it will be done well this time.
