Other nominees for Best Performance included Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo in Far Cry 6, Erika Mori as Alex Chen in Life is Strange: True Colors, Jason E. Kelley as Colt Vahn and Ozioma Akagha as Julianna Blake, both in Deathloop.
During her acceptance speak, Robertson thanked Capcom for taking the chance on her, her fellow Resident Evil Village actors and other supporting staff, and the fans and community for voting for her.
Though the competition was stiff, Maggie’s win was almost expected, but absolutely well deserved. Her performance as Lady Dimistrescu captured the hearts, and other regions, of the internet to the point where Capcom shifted the majority of marketing for Resident Evil Village around her, despite being the first major boss to defeat during the game!
This follows her win at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards where she also took home the award for Best Performer for the role as well.
From all of here at BHd, congrats Maggie on your win! We hope to see you in future Capcom projects!
