Resident Evil is pretty big in Brazil. In fact, several of the biggest Facebook groups for the series is are Brazilian. So it’s safe to safe that Resident Evil Village will be a huge deal there.
That being said, even with all of that support, none of the previous titles have supported the Brazilian language of Portuguese as far as voiceover. They’ve only ever had subtitles.

However, Resident Evil Village will be changing that by being the first to include not only Portuguese subtitles, but also full voice acting as well.

Tweeted out by Capcom Brasil, this video has Peter Fabiano enthusiastically announcing that the newest title will be making history for the Brazilian fans.
This is a huge step forward for Capcom, and I’m sure the massive fanbase in Brazil will be happy to finally hear the characters speaking their native tongue.
