We love Capcom, but this Resident Evil Village demo nonsense really is wacky for no discernible reason. As such, it’s hard for those amongst us who are on the busier side to play the demos that have been released.
With windows of playtime, on top of a restricted session time, it can be frustrating just trying to get in a little bit of time playing Resident Evil Village.
Capcom has listened, it would seem, but only half listened.
The upcoming Resident Evil Village demo, starting May 1st in North America, will run the entire length of the week, through until after the game releases, going until May 9th. However, you still will only have an hour of session time to explore.
While it’s a little annoying that the demos are restricted to a single, hour-long session, it’s still helpful that potential players will have a much greater window of time to get that hour in. Those with busy schedules will likely have at least one hour of free time between the beginning and end of the demo run.
Meanwhile, the game itself will be launching on all platforms on Friday, May 7th. Hopefully, you’ll get to check it out before you pull the trigger!
