Resident Evil Village Broke the Franchise’s Concurrent Player Record on Steam - 1 min read

Big numbers for Capcom’s latest game!

Resident Evil Village had over 100,000 concurrent players on Steam at launch, making it the series’ most popular PC launch ever. Village took over the top spot from 2019’s Resident Evil 2 remake, which had nearly 75,000 concurrent players.

It’s peak was on May 8th, 2021 with 106,631 players, according to Steam Charts. It’s still carrying a daily peak of roughly 24,000 players on average.

Resident Evil Village has also been performing quite well on Twitch as well, at the time of this writing it is has over 15,000 live viewers with a 40,196 viewer peak in the last 24 hours, with an all time peak of 658,703 viewers according to SteamDB.
