While the details of the Netflix exclusive Resident Evil Infinite Darkness are still a mystery, it looks like the CG series won’t be confined to the screen.
Tokyopop, an American publisher for manga and comics, announced that they will be publishing the English version of an original graphic novel (OGN) that ties directly into Resident Evil Infinite Darkness. This manga release will be in conjunction with the myriad other goodies that are coming out for the Resident Evil 25th Anniversary.
It’s a dream come true!Stu Levy, Tokyopop
“I’ll never forget back in the beginning of my career, when as a young correspondent for an American gaming publication, I interviewed Capcom’s game director before the first game’s release,” he said.
“He and his R&D team were so excited to bring cinematic horror storytelling into the video game world. And now we at Tokyopop can contribute to the incredible franchise built on their original vision. It’s a dream come true!”
Tokyopop wouldn’t spill anything more telling, but promise more information “at a future date”.
